Connect4 closes strategic angel investment round

Connect4 has raised a strategic angel investment round to double down on product development and engineering efforts while launching the product in the market.

Andrew Jordon, CEO and Co-founder of Connect4 shares on the impact of this pre-seed funding round.

Connect4 was founded in April 2020, with the mission to build stronger and more productive relationships with customers and clients alike.

Since then Connect4 has grown at a rapid pace constantly improving the product and adding thousands of users from 25+ countries and from multiple sectors.  From the U.K. to Guatemala, and India to Romania with accounting firms, business coaches and software companies utilising the Connect4 platform.

Connect4 early adopters – have lived in the platform having hundreds of meetings, storing documents and assigning and completing actions.  Within a matter of months many users have logged in over 50 times with one user having logged on to Connect4 over 400 times!

Connect4 has also been recognised by the accounting industry for its innovative approach to client communication- being announced as a finalist by Accounting Excellence as one of the top five UK Product Innovations of the Accounting industry in 2021 alongside Capitalise, Fathom, Fluidly and Inflo.

Connect4’s initial success has stemmed from two things:  an incredible core team and an engaged early customer base- what we call our ‘Seed Partners’.

Connect4 financing: what’s next?

In 2021 we formed our experienced core team.  This fundraise allows the team to have more customer conversations, learn faster and ultimately deliver product improvements quicker.

At Connect4 our mission is to empower relationships in an increasingly digital world. We care about your relationships with clients, with customers and with staff.

We have a hugely exciting feature enhancement list with over 1,000 pieces of feedback from ‘ambitious scaling’ SME’s.  Expect to see developments around action setting, interaction with CRM/ practice management workflows, client collaboration outside of and within a meeting, team oversight, hybrid workflows, bulk pod creation and best practice workflows.

We are all set to see client and customer relationships continue to thrive with Connect4!

Who are the angel investors?

When approaching this fundraise in early 2021- the ambition was to raise capital from a group of supportive and varied angel investors from different geographies.

The investment was made by twenty-three angel investors from England, Ireland, Scotland, Canada and Australia.

The round comprises of an impressive line-up of current customers, Founders, previous operators, investors and Executives spanning companies such as Xero, Sage, Cognism, Charlotte Street Capital, Hubdoc, Dext, AutoEntry, Abcam, Actix, JP Morgan, 10to8 and Practice Ignition.

A huge thank you to our strategic angel investors who are already proving invaluable in supporting product development, go to market strategies, partnerships, future financing and encouragement!

An exciting time to be a part of Connect4 as we conquer throwaway meetings and help businesses globally develop valued relationships with their clients and customers.
