Access Connect4 meetings without registering
In our dedication to making client meetings as simple and efficient as possible, we’ve introduced a new ‘guest entry’ feature.
Meeting participants no longer need to register on the platform in order to join a video call. Simply share a unique web address with meeting invitees and let them access a pod with just one click.
How it works
1. Create a pod
Start by creating a new client pod, as you normally would. Invite your clients and teammates by adding their email addresses.
2. Schedule a meeting
Next, schedule a meeting, again — as you normally would. Adding the meeting to your calendar should automatically add your pod’s unique link to the calendar entry.
3. Click pod link to enter
Meeting participants will click to enter your pod from their calendar invite as usual.
People who are not registered and signed-in to the Connect4 platform will be directed to the pod in a special ‘guest mode’. They can then click ‘Connect’ to join the video call.
Participants accessing a Connect4 pod in guest mode are free to join the video call as usual but they do not get access to all Connect4 features, such as; the meeting agenda, resources and past meeting notes. To access those things, a meeting participant simply needs to register on the platform and make sure that their email address has been added to the pod participant list.
Use cases
There are lots of situations where entering as a guest is really useful. For example:
- Clients who forget to register in time for a meeting (or can’t be bothered!).
- Prospective clients whom you have not invited into a specific pod.
- Team members who do not need to be part of a pod, but might instead dip into an occasional meeting to provide specific information.
As always, feel free to let us know what you think of this new feature (or any other feature on Connect4) by sending an email to [email protected]. Happy meetings!
